Sterilizing or pasteurizing your cooked food products is extremely important. If it’s not done properly, you’re putting the health of your consumers and your own reputation at risk.

But when you start a new recipe, it’s not always easy to define the best time and temperature to sterilize or pasteurize your product, without altering its taste properties. Not to mention calculating the shelf life of your product.

That’s why, in collaboration with BRUCEFO (Brussels Centre for Food Expertises), we’re offering demonstrations using the Terra Food autoclave. In the same laboratory, you can also request a microbiological study, and receive advice on the labeling your products.

PFAS is used in the manufacture of various products due to its oil / water / temperature / chemical , and fire resistance. Due to their chemical stability, these “permanent chemicals” are used in products ranging from non-stick cookware to electronic equipment and low-emission automobiles. As these items are disposed of, PFAS will become contaminated and accumulate in soil and water sources.

Human exposure to these persistent chemicals can cause effects on the immune system, cancer, thyroid dysfunction, and other diseases.

PFAS repair is largely impossible, so accurate PFAS analysis is essential for public safety. In the laboratory, PFAS analysis is difficult because PFAS-free ingredients are essential for accurate analysis. From sample homogenizing equipment to extraction systems to liquid chromatography systems, everything should be PFAS-free. CEM discusses the homogenization and extraction schemes of various substrates to optimize the recovery rate in the webinar below, including the LC method and the results of these studies.

De Pink Walk is in onze ogen een belangrijk evenement omdat het enerzijds bewustzijn creëert over borstkanker, één van de meest voorkomende vormen van kanker bij vrouwen, en geld inzamelt voor kankeronderzoek. En anderzijds de noodzaak aan bewegen in de spot zet: het is een unieke kans om met de collega’s deze challenge aan te gaan, samen voor de 10.000 stappen per dag.

De beslissing van BRS om deel te nemen aan de Pink Walk toont aan dat ons bedrijf niet alleen omzet nastreeft maar ook maatschappelijke verantwoordelijkheid en betrokkenheid in het vaandel draagt. Wij zijn begaan met de gezondheid van de gemeenschap en we zetten graag in voor de strijd tegen borstkanker.

Tot slot willen wij benadrukken dat elke stap en elke daad telt in de strijd tegen kanker. Onderzoek kost geld, en dat gaan we inzamelen met deze actie.
